Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy, a half-English and half-Spanish woman, was born on April 16th, 1996. She was born in Miami Florida. The girl is English half Spanish. Her parents are Dennis Alan Taylor an ex-banker as well as Jennifer Marina Joy psychologist. Her father was an Argentine who had Scottish as well as English ancestry. Her mother is Spanish-English. Taylor-Joy has five siblings four from her father's prior marriage. The family lived within Buenos Aires until she was six years old, and then moved to the Victoria neighborhood of London. Taylor-Joy stated that moving was traumatic and that she was unable to go back to school in English in the hope of go back to Argentina. She had to switch schools between Northlands towards Hill House. Later, she enrolled in Queen's Gate School where she was a ballet student and performed in school plays. She left at the age of 16 to go to school in order to pursue acting as a career. Taylor-Joy always knew she wanted to be an actress. The opportunity was offered to her chance by Sarah Doukas founder of Storm Management she offered her a modelling job.
