Kelly Clarkson has been a American songwriter and singer for more than twenty years. She won American Idol during the first season. It was not just the victory that brought Kelly Clarkson into the limelight as it also secured her an agreement with RCA Records 19 Recordings & S Records to release a variety of albums. Since her debut her album, she's released several albums. From those, three were ranked first on the US Billboard 200. The others were close to reaching the top position. She's one of the most successful artists to come out of the American Idol series. She experimented as she gained popularity with different musical themes and style, and often wrote her own songs. Due to her distinctness and ability as a singer, she was praised by the media and received a number of prestigious prizes. One of her most memorable achievements was that she received 3 Grammy awards. Music isn't the only thing she is involved in. She has also appeared in TV and movies. River Rose and the Magical Lullaby is a children's story written by her. She was also involved in charitable work and numerous other organisations.
