Andrea Maria Jeremiah works as an Indian performer, actress and musician. Her main work involves in Tamil or Malayalam-language films. Annayum Rasoolum was her Malayalam and Tamil debut. The actress made her debut in Tamil with Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea Jeremiah has been raised in the Tamil Nadu region in an Anglo-Indian family. Andrea's father was a Madras High Court lawyer. Her mother is the older cousin of an assistant researcher who lives in Leuven, Belgium. Jeremiah was raised as a child in Chennai. He attended National Public School. After the completion of his studies, he attended Women's Christian College. Andrea was a young classical pianist, who was extremely geeky. Young Stars is a Jackson Five type group she joined at the age 10 and was the beginning of her singing and music career. She was an actor at her university and participated in several productions through The Madras Players, EVAM and various theatre organizations. She was also an EVAM Student Senate President at Women's Christian College. Andrea started her career in theatre by appearing in Girish Karnad's Nagamandala. In 2006, her role in the Leo Coffee commercial included Shiva. She has also acted in a TV show which aired on Podhigai. She has performed all over India. She performed a very brief role in Kanda Mudhal, the 2005 finale. She sang a song for Gautham Vasudev's Vettaiyaadu. The director asked her to join his lead female characters on Pachaikili Muthucharam. The film was an adaptation of James Siegel's novel Derailed, with Andrea playing Kalyani an aspiring homemaker, whose husband engages in an affair, and then is blackmailed. Andrea was approached by Simran Shobana's death and Tabu. The film premiered in the beginning of 2010. The film was released in early 2010. for a role in the film. Venkat Prabhu starred in Mankatha. Mankatha came out on the 11th of August, 2011. Annayum Rasoolum was Rajeev's romantic movie in 2013.
