Amber Benson (born April 14 70 years ago) is an American actress, singer as well as a writer and director. Her most well-known role is as Tara Maclay, in the TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Additionally, she's directed, produced and performed in her own films Chance and Lovers Liars & Lunatics. She also starred Kiss the Bride. Benson was born on January 8, 1977, in Birmingham Alabama the daughter of Diane and Edward Benson a psychiatrist. Danielle is her sister and an artist.
