Lisa Edelstein (born Lisa Edelstein) is an American actor who is best famous for her character House in the Fox Medical drama House. After turning 18, Lisa moved to New York City from Wayne where she was raised according to traditional Jewish customs. The school quickly became a fixture in the scene of clubs in New York. The performances she gave were so impressive that local media took notice. She eventually used her experience and fame to compose and write a musical titled Positive Me in which she was a part of. The first time she was hired, she got her first position at MTV as anchor of Awake on The Wild Side shortly after. After it was taken off air, she began appearing in films and television production, initially in short roles before establishing herself as an actor.
