Kari Samantha was an American artist, actress and vocalist (born on April 28 1967). She began her professional career as a teenager and is best known for her roles as Maggie Beckett in the television series Sliders and also as Sheriff Samantha Parker in the horror comedy film Eight Legged Freaks.Wuhrer was born in Brookfield, Connecticut, the daughter of Karin (nee Noble), a payroll accountant, and German American Andrew Wuhrer, who was a police officer as well as a automobile salesman. She is the youngest of three siblings. As a teenager, she was a singer performing in clubs and hid from her family in order to perform.
