
Allison Brooks Janney, born on 19 November 1959 in America is an American actress. Her performances on screen and the stage have been a hallmark of her professional career, which spanned thirty years. Janney won numerous honors, such as the Academy Award and a British Academy Film Award. She earned seven Primetime Emmy Awards. Janney received nominations for two Tony Awards. She was born in Boston and born in Dayton, Ohio, Janney earned a grant to study in the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art after having graduated from Kenyon College. Following a string of minor and non-credited television and film appearances The breakthrough for Janney came from her role as C. J.
